Activities

The activities that AVCCC organizes internally are for members of the alumni association. In some cases, guests with experience or a background in psychodynamic-systemic work may also participate.

  • January 13, March 17 and May 12: corona zoom, reflection meetings. May 20: Seminar "Working with the Dynamics of Shame," with Eliat Aram, CEO at the Tavistock Institute.
  • Sept. 23: Seminar "Dance Macabre - whose tune do we dance to?", with Olya Khaleelee and Halina Brunning.

  • Feb. 12: Infrasensing Workshop: "Transformation and the organization through an artistic lens" - Juliet Scott and Sam Nightingale - Tavistock affiliated.
  • April 2 and June 9: 'Awareness of your civic role,' workshops
  • April 29, July 1 and September 16: "coronazoom, reflecting on the exercise of the work role in the age of zoom and ms teams.
  • Nov. 5 and 6: "Managing Disillusion and Conflict in Organizations" seminar, with Susan Long, Director of Research and Scholarship Nioda, Melbourne.

2020

  • Jan. 17: Seminar The inevitability of breakdown.... 'and how to repair' by Katie Lee Weille.In this seminar, Katie Lee took us through the theory of American psychoanalyst Jessica Benjamin with concepts such as "thirdness" and "do-er" and "done-to.
  • April 22: Dialogue on 'The accessibility of the association'
  • May 28 and June 22: coronazome 1 and 2
  • July 10: "Reflection on the corona-impact - One-ness and Me-ness," workshop with Susan Long (instead of the seminar "Working with organizational and role-observation methods" that was supposed to have taken place on March 27th and had to be canceled).
  • Sept. 18: seminar "Consulting on the Lateral Axis: An exploration of Lateral Dynamics in Organizations" supervised by Petros Oratis.

2019

  • Feb. 1: workshop 'De Prooi' olv psychoanalyst Sacha Marlisa and psychotherapist Ad Bolhuis. In this workshop psychodynamic themes were interpreted using images from the series 'De Prooi' about the rise and fall of Rijkman Groenink as top executive of ABN AMRO.
  • April 18 and 19: Seminar "Finding a Place to Stand: From the Family to the Organization to Society, a two-day exploration" by Ed Shapiro and Donna Elmendorf

2018

  • May 30: Art-based learning workshop olv Marcel de Groen.
  • September 14: seminar olv Silvia Prins. Theme: tolerating difficult feelings; using yourself as an instrument in exciting and conflictual situations. In December the seminar by Susan Long was cancelled due to circumstances.
  • Dec. 14: Role Biography workshop olv Djura Prins and Willem de Lannoy.

2017

  • Feb. 3: Jaak le Roy with "The significance of a community-based/community-based approach in the Dutch context.
  • March 17-19: European Regional Meeting 2017 On the Other Side: Identity and Identification in Europe in crisis. A collaboration between ISPOS and AVCCC.
  • June 9: Leslie Brissett with "Boardroom Dynamics and its Systemic Influence.
  • Dec. 15: Odette Moeskops with "Breaking organizational patterns, holding and containment and the ability to tolerate.

2016

  • Oct. 14: Rose Mersky with "Getting practical: Using socioanalytic methodologies in client organizations

2015

  • June 12: Michael Gutmann in a seminar on the topic, "AVCCC: building together a new association of consultants, from University to the real world.
  • Dec. 11: Anton Obholzer with "Coaching: the INSEAD experience.

2014

  • June 13: Tim Dartington, leading group and organizational consultant and associate of the Tavistock institute and Tavistock Consulting to the Netherlands will take us through his work and experiences as an organizational consultant.
  • October 1: Servaas van Beekum with: 'the relational approach in consulting'

2013

  • June 21: Dr. Belia van den Berg with the theme "The Hero's Journey.
  • Nov. 15: Paul Verhaeghe with the theme "Identity.

2012

  • June 13: a networking meeting with Prof. Dr. Sandra Schruijer with the theme: 'System dynamic approach of multi-party cooperation:(interorganizational)collaborative processes, the role of diversity, trust, collusion and conflict.'
  • Sept. 14: A networking meeting with Diana Shmukler on the theme, "Looking at the development of organizations from the perspective of Human-Development.
  • December 1: in collaboration with RINO Noord-Holland. Theme: "Citizens Without a Voice. The speakers are: John Adlam and Christopher Scanlon.

2011

  • June 10: Led by Richard Morgan-Jones. Theme: "The Body of the Organization and its Health.
  • December 16: led by Simon Western. Theme: "Eco-Leadership and Analytic-Network Coaching: The theory and development of leadership for the 21st century.

2010

  • June 25: Margot Waddell. Author of Insides Lives, Psychoanalysis and the growth of the Personality.
  • December 3: led by Jean Reed.

2009

  • May 27: "Group mentality" led by David Armstrong.
  • December 4: Theme: "Female leadership, succession andvy," led by Dr. Eliat Aram; director of the Tavistock Institute in London.
